Taking a break

Well , I hope this moment will never come , but it eventually did. Since I wanted my blog to have more articles than music videos and pics , I kind of lost my inspiration. I don't know what to write anymore.So , I guess I'll be taking a break from writting on this blog. But , don't worry. If the inspiration will strike me someday(it can be even today or tomorrow , who knows....) I'll write some nice articles.But that means I won't write everyday , maybe once or twice a week , who knows....So , if anyone there is checking my blog , I advise you tostop coming to my blog so often. When you'll get bored and have nothing to do , you can come and check it. But not too often , because you might be disappointed that I haven't posted anything. Mmmmyeah......

When I saw this video , I instantly clicked it and watched(hehe , so tipical for me!). And I've got to admit , this was pretty interesting- I think EDM fans will love this. The last 2 final exams next week...Sorry I haven't posted in a while , but I really didn't feel like doing it.In the mood of not doing anything , just talking with my friends and listening to some underground music.All this waiting-for-the-exams feeling got me down , so I didn't want to bore you with some simple , dull posts.And I'm kind of out of inspiration , but after I'll finish with my exams , I"ll start writing some new posts.Wish me luck! YOLO dafuq?

So , I've seen many times this YOLO shit on the internet. For crappy teenagers who think they are cool , this is just an excuse to drink until they enter in coma , to smoke untill their lungs turn black and to make asses out of theirselves.And yeah , the picture I've put here inspired me to write this.The concept of YOLO-You Only Live Once- is way different . It's about having a good life. Studying now so you can get a good job when you grow up. a good job has a big salary , so you will be able to afford all the expensive shits you've never had.Travel around the world , visit new countries , having contact with new cultures , making new friends , trying some unusual stuff( like bungee jumping or eating insects , i don't know) and the list can go on.But , let's adapt it to our age. For me and Jack Black, YOLO is just Carpe Diem for stupid people. It's about living the moment.So , don't start drinking , smoking , fucking everybody or making an ass out of yourself. Do fun things , which will become a nice memory.Do just what you like. Dance with your friends in the rain , go with them on a camping trip and so on . For example - I had my prom yesterday , I danced a lot , blablabla. But one of the things that shocked me(in a very good way!)was my shy , introvertite friend. She started dancing so fierce that you could actually feel that she was living the moment. This is YOLO , not other shits(smoking , drinking , fucking , etc.)

So was the second time , but yesterday I've decided to give it another chance and lsiten to it again , while reading something.Well , I couldn't concetrate on reading ,so I started listening to the song and I was like"OMG , this is just awesome!". How could I ever thought this was boring? But the drop at 4:14 kind of bothers me , it should be way smoother .But , it's okay , because the song becomes more unique and fresh. Summer....

So , the summer holiday is so close you can almost touch it(literally).Which means more exams , for me and the "competiton" for getting a place in a good highschool(I've almost finished the 8th grade) so.....fuck.I'm already fed up of school , exams , tests , getting good grades , "studying"(yeah , right! studying.....) and homeworks.But , at least I know that until next month , I will already have finished with all these shits and maybe I'll be able to enjoy this stupid holiday. And , the dumbest thing is , that before the holiday you have tons of ideas about how you'll spend your time in the holiday , but when you're finally having holiday.....well......boredoooommm!!!So , I've made up a pretty pathetic list of things you can do in the summer holiday:

• Make a list of books you want to read and stop thinking and bitching that reading is just for nerds and old people. But , remember that "Twilight" or "Pretty Little Liars" are not literature.Neither "Gossip Girl". You won't learn anything from there. I'll make a list of good books quite soon :)
• Make a list with serials you want to watch because you'll have a lot of spare time.I've decided to watch "Mad Men" , "New Girl" , "2 Broke Girls", "Downton Abbey" , "House M.D." and "Grey's Anatomy"
• Make some DIYs because now it's the perfect time , you can concentrate on making those shirts or necklaces without bothering that you have to do that homework later.
• Go to a course of dancing , photograhy , music....anything you want! It's the perfect time to learn something new.
• Learn a new language-I've decided I'll try to learn French this summer. My friend wants to learn Japannese.What language would fancy you?Now it's the time to learn it!
• Do some sport! If you're still not as fit as you wanted to be, go and do some sport. Swimming , running , playing volleyball-it's even more fun when you do this with a friend(or some friends , who knows...)
• Watch the movies you always wanted to see because you have time now.And maybe I'll help you with a list of must-watch :)
• Make a picninc-I have this in my mind for a while and I can't wait to go to one with my friends!
• Make a new hobby
• Make new friends

Florrie-Introduction EP

I know I've talked before about Florrie , but I'll do it again. Because she deserves it. She's such a great singer , with an amazing voice(and she's even a model!) and a very good drummer.And this EP....makes me say I love pop music.I'm not such a big fan of pop, but her songs are actually quite enjoyable , yet not too radio-or-TV-friendly.Which is good , because it means they're not cheap , full of non-sense and commercial.So , if you like this kind of pop or dance-ish music , this EP is worth listening and downloading(free and legal ,of course) from her website , here.

Cover Power

So , a few days ago I've found an incredible cover of a shitty song of Britney Spears , "Toxic". I don't think I've liked her or her cheap , artificial , commercial pop songs , but that cover is just amazing! It's nothing like the original (ok , the lyrics are the same , that's logic) which makes me love it even more. Then , I remembered why: remember an old "song of the day" , "Keep your secrets in midnight city" by Kill Paris? Well , that's a mash-up of "Midnight City" and ...another song. The mash-up is pretty good , but I'm just in love with the original!Those beats...Well , no wonder I like it-M83 is a french band. MTV Movie Awards -Best Dressed

To be honest , I just couldn't wait to watch the show. But as long as it was broadcasted live in my country at around 4 a.m. .....meh.I just took a quick look at the winners and it's one annoying question I'm willing to ask now : why the fuck is Twilight Breaking Dawn pt 1 the effin' movie of the year? Seriously! One of my best friends is a huge Twilight fan , but even she admitted that Breaking Dawn was boring and dull.Nevermind.....I'm happy that Bridesmaids won a few prizes too , I think it's just one of the best movies I've ever seen! And after I've found out that Johnny Depp got the Generation Award  , I totally forgot about the Twilight thing and a big smile appeared on my face. Yeah , Johnny is one of my favourites no matter he does :D 

 But , the best part about this were the celebrities' outfits. I've choosed some I really like and I'll just put them up here:)

Charlize Theron was definitely the best dressed. Her outfit is so classy and sophisticated and she prooves she's a real style icon. Even though I hate red , this is a dress to die for!

After Charlize , I think Emma Stone had one of the best outfits. That dress looks splendid , it's complicated yet simple due to the balck & white combination . And it suits Emma very well!

I just love Janelle Monae's suit! She stands out simply because she choosed not to wear a dress like any other did.And she succeded quite well. Oh , she's just adorable!

Kate Beckinsale looks just splendid! That simple , cream dress looks just perfect on her. I don't think anyone could wear that and look as half as hot as her:)

Even though I never heard of this actress , Kirsten Prout , her outfit is pretty awesome.It's so simple and tres chic! I think I've got a soft spot for the cream/nude colour lately!

And the last , but not the least :Holland Roden. Again , I've never heard of her before , but she has a really cute outfit. That red print and mesh look pretty interesting put togheter.

It's "Favourite things" by The Golden Filter.Yeah , it's kind of stupid and random , but that's exactly what I like about it : it doesn't take itself too seriously and it sounds very sweet.And it's catchy. Social Riot pt 3-You are what you see

It's no longer a new thing that the media is the 4th world's power.So , no doubt that you are what you see.
As Daft Punk said in one of their songs , Television rules the nation.Every programme you watch leaves you an impression , sometimes it even influences you.So , no doubt we are the product of television.Especially now , when the variety of TV shows keeps on growing.Some of them are good shows , some of them are pure shit. Let's start with the most annoying of them all(for me , of course) : reality shows.
One of the biggest disavantages of them is that they are completelly POINTLESS! The ones showing the celebritites' day-by-day life are just useless.What I am supposed to learn from those things?I mean , seriously , I don't care wtf that "celebrity" does every effin' single day!(I hope you heard that , KK !) Really , why would you like to watch a person's day-by-day life?It's just like installing some hidden cameras in a stranger's home and then watch his boring day-by-day life. That would make you a creep , right? In my opinion , watching these kind of shows is exactly the same thing , the only difference being the fact that you watch that in the same time with other few million people.
And the dating reality shows are the most stupid thing the humanity ever made. Seriously , why would you like to admit in front of a few million people that you are a forever-alone guy and you weren't able to find your match?And how many of the participants of these shows have actually met the love of their life there?Probably less than 10% or 5% of them , so let's get real. And it's even more awkard because is on tv...
As long as I haven't seen a good reality show yet , I'm not a big fan of these kind of shows. I'm actually a hater , oh well.......
Because it's in the human nature to like anything which is about love , mankind created soap-operas , one of the worst things you can watch on your personal TV. Now , why would you watch and actually enjoy something like that?
Because....
A.It's not real
B. It tries to fake reality (and fails hard , to be honest)
c.It's too dramatic , cheesy , corny and stupid  , of course.
Mainly , they all have the same old story. She loves him or the other way round , but they can't be togheter because of the family . Sometimes , there's a young charming man trying to seduce the heroine or a beautiful young mistress to seduce the hero. But they fail  blah blah blah more problems and cheesy stuff , but in the end , the main characters get togheter finally , probably forever , living hapily ever after , marriage , kids , happiness , etc.The story of almost every soap opera. (And Twilight , lol , I just noticed that!). But they become even more annoying when they're in Spanish- this language pisses me of , to be honest. Plus , all those Spanish/Latino/whatever soaps have bad actors who overact , look stupid and they have the same old stories full of cliches. Gorgeous...
Another thing which pisses me off on TV are the singing shows (Yeah , American Idol , The Voice , etc.)-and my hate towards them has absolutely nothing to do with my lack of talent . Seriously , I think they're pointless and I don't think I'd like to spend a few hours from my life watching some idiots ruining my favourite songs.By the way , have you actually heard anything new about the previous winners of these kind of shows? Yeah , me neither! See , I told you , they're pointless!
The next annoying thing is the celebrity-gossip shows.Okay , maybe they're not that bad , because it's good to be informed , but when their latest buzz is KK's new shoes or Selena's new puppy or promoting any kind of new pseudo-celebrity.....no. Just no!I don't think this will influence my life in any way and I don't give a shit on them.This kind of "news" only prove me that they've got some very bad second-hand reporters who are in hurry and don't know what real journalism is.
And now , the last piece of cake(I guess) : beauty pageants.The dumbest thing about them is that you can't choose a winner , because you can't define beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder , so what I think is beautiful might not seem that beautiful to you. For example , millions of women around the world worship Brad Pitt and think he's the most beautiful man in the univesre. I think he's VERY ugly. So , just picking up just one winneris wrong and unfair , because everyone is beautiful in his own way. And of course , you're wasting your time watching these trashy shows , time that could be spent on reading a book or doing something which is actually useful for you.
So , because of all the shit that is on TV right now , I kind of gave up watching it. I barely turn it on once a week and watch it for 15 minutes or less, just to take a look at Fashion TV  or Cartoon Network to see if  there are Tom&Jerry.
I just have figured out I was  wasting time with the trash on TV and you should do that too.

It's "Low Life" from Steve Aoki ft Uffie(LA Riots remix). Apparently , the first girl who sings , with that wierd , horribile voice is Sky Ferreira, Ugh! But , the song is very catchy ,though. That guitar-riff-like beat is just killing me with it's awesomeness! I hated it the first time when I heard it , but after a few repeats I was dancing and singing along to this song , so this is good.Now , it's up to you to say if this is shit or not , so listen to it below.

I just feel like posting this song today.....It's "We are your friends" by Simian -Justice remix. And no matter how much I'd listen to it , it'll still be one of my favourite songs ever and I don't know how I can portray my love for this song just using words....What can I say? One of the only songs I'd sing out loud(I actually do this , heheXD )  - ignoring my lack of talent- and I'd probably sing it whenever I'll be drunk-I just think no other song would be suitable to sing in a condition like that. Sugar , spice and everything nice

It's the name of the amazing photoshoot from Harper's Bazaar newest issue from my country(Harper's Bazaar Romania , more exactly). And yeah , I just fell in love with it.It's really sweet but a bit rebelious in the same time and has that retro flair that I totally adore! I actually everything which is retro , vintage , old , whatever.
So , it was a pleasant surprise to discover this photoshooting in the pages of this magazine.Those Louis Vuitton clothes never looked so good! Get ready to be enchanted by the Candyland flair of this photoshooting , put your pastel clothes on while singing "La vie en rose" by Edith Piaf  and go and eat a mint-flavoured ice-cream which matches  perfectly with your clothes in  a sunny day in the park. C'est chic!

So , I've seen a top made by a guy with the best movies he saw this year(which appeared in this year too , of course) and it kind of inspired me-especially because in the top 3 were actually ones of my favourite movies too :) So , let's start:
5. The Avengers
Yeah , one of the most expected films this year , I know. With such a fuss made around it , it's impossibile to not hear about it , all those Avengers jokes (especially on 9gag-I'm a daily reader XD ) and other stuff like that. The film was okay , it had lots of funny jokes and great special effects and the actions scenes.....just amazing! But , all that 3D was just unnecessary , it only made my eyes hurt (I've taken off the 3D glasses in the middle of the movie and watched it without them-so much better!) and the veeeery long intro. But still a good movie.By the way , if there are any kind of Avengers "teams" , I'm Team Loki !!(FTW!)
4.21 Jump Street
Pretty good.With Jason Hill in it , you're sure you're going to laugh out loud. Teamed with Channing Tatum , it was just hilarious! Two underachieving cops are send to a highschool , because of the finding of a drug there. So , they have to blend in and find out who's the dealer.The highschool has changed since they left it  and they are a bit overhelmed. And from now on come the hilarious situations , well-blended with the action scenes.
3.The Dictator
I went to see this movie with low-expectations , because a friend told me she read a review of it and said it wasn't very good. But , to be honest , after seeing this movie, I actually think that review was made by some monkeys . Honestly , this movie was just hilarious , made me laugh so hard! The story of a dictator of a oil-rich African country , who is threatened by UN with war if he doesn't stops producing nuclear weapons. So , he comes to New York to deal with them , but he's replaced with a look-a-like and ends up on the streets of the city , finds a job and his love. But , with some help of an old friend , he proves that he's the real dictator , so he comes back to his country and aproves for democracy(aa fake one , actually).
2.The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
A purely brilliant movie. Maybe it had a bit too much violence for me(I'm 15 , after all) but it was just great. It's actually a remake of a  swedish movie with the same name , after the book written by Stieg Larsson. In generally , the remakes suck , but this one was one of the rare and amazing exceptions.The story is about a journalist, Michael Blomkvist , implied in a scandal , who is payed by an old man from a rich family to make investigations about his niece , who was missing for 40 years .He is aided by the anti-social , goth computer hacker Lisbeth Salander. And from now on , the story gets even more complicated , but that's exactly what makes it great: it's complex and it focuses on every character , whithout being too laden.

1.Sherlock Holmes:A Game of Shadows
Definitely one of the best movies of the year. And  I'm not saying that only because I love Robert Downey Jr or the Sherlock Holmes books. I'm sure you all know the story of Sherlock Holmes , the briliant detective and his bright assistan , Watson. Well , they will try to get Professor Moriarty down , their worst enemy. From now on  ,the story gets more and more complicated. I won't tell you more. Go and watch it yourselves and I'm assuring you you won't be disapointed!

Discovering Gorillaz one night on tv-you know , those nights when you listen to music when you should actually be sleeping-got me into real, good music.Maybe all my favourite bands have great songs and albumes , but they'll never be as good as Gorillaz. Social Riot pt 2- Girls Gone Wild

No , it's not about Madona's new song or a dirty movie , it's about the new teenage feminine persons' behaviour. You must be like "Wtf? You're a teenager too!". Well , to be honest , I am a teenager , but I don't like to admit it. Mostly because of the many stereotypes and cliches about persons(girls in generally) my age these days.I also see every fuckin' single day my teenage fellow girls and I'm kind of very disappointed and ashamed by them. They only try to get as much attention as they can and expose themselves as much as possibile. So here come in the slutty outfits and behaviour , social network profiles , friends and vocabulary-which are full of vulgarity(or at least that's what I see).What's that bad at this it's that more and more girls at an earlier age seem to adopt this "lifestyle".
They start with their clothes. That means that more and more kitsch and cheap outfits are to come from now on (Viva la pink puke outfits!) . Delightful , right? And of course , add the very "sophisticated" make-up: pinky pinkie pink glossy gloss , a ton of blackie-ugly-black mascara and eyeliner , 2 tons of  oh-so-cheap of foundation and powder.....sometimes you can even spot a delightful colour of orange caused by the splendid fake tan......just beautiful.
The next things to come are the attitude and vocabulary. They become louder, start gossiping even more( don't get me wrong-everybody gossips , I gossip too , but their gossips are just because they think are way superior than everybody else-it's a difference here) , call everybody names , thinking they are way better than everyone else. But , in a very strange way, their attitude and behaviour radically change in the presence of a "cutie" , "hottie" or whatever (this hottie has to be popular of course , maybe a jock , who knows?) . Mmmyeah , they would step on corpsesjust for their 15 minutes of fame( Oh , Andy Warhol , you were right...).
About the vocabulary..better not even think about it......because their grammar is a big 0 , and they use such cute and not offensive words!
I'm sure you all have seen at least some few(Iactually think you've seen LOTS!!!) of girls like that on the social networks you have accounts on -la creme de la creme! With pics with the popular duckface(which makes me sick , to be honest) and "sexy" (aka embarrasing)positions , cheap rap/pop/dance songs lyrics as statuses (or stupid things they think and say), changing their relationship statuses from 2 in 2 days , having a huge number of friends(I bet they don't even know about 10% of their "friends") , these girls have invaded every single fuckin' place fom the internet.
From an earlier age , they try to get more and more attention, as many boyfriends as posibile , as many "sexy" clothes and cheap make-up......that's very sad.
Well , I remember when I was 10 I was still watching cartoons , having a blankie , playing outside with the kids every single day, still believing in Santa, thought fairies were real.....that was only 5 years ago.
Nowadays , 10 years old girls have boyfriends and no longer think they are "little kids" or act as a normal 10 years old. But it's hard to define "normal" nowadays. I just start losing my faith in humankind.
As you have probably noticed , I'm just making a synthesis of my generation. I could go on for hours about this, but I don't want to write a book about this , so I'll just stop.
Yeah , I'm 15 , I read books , I still watch my favourite cartoons (Tom&Jerry FTW!!), my Facebook account has only 2 pics showing half of my face , I like the classic , retro , vintage style, I hate using make-up and I admit I'm a geek.A weirdo. Someone who hates people and attention in general.An outsider. Someonewho doesn't want to go with the crowd. Fuck mainstream. I just want to be myself.
So , guys , just be yourselves.Don't let all those mainstream stupid stuff get into your head. Select only the good quality stuff, don't even look at the cheap stuff. Dare to be different , but in the same time , act proper for your age and the enviroment you are into. And most important , try to use your fuckin' brain to do more than basic stuff : to think.

Social Riot pt 1- Pop Culture(aka how today's music and "rolemodels" affected us)

Everybody loves music , let's face it. The only difference is that some love it more than the others.Music has evolved  so much throught the ages , from simple drum beats to the music we know and listen to nowadays. Unfortunately , its quality it's disproportional: seems that the quantity matters more than the quality.Everyone can be a musician today , but not many have real talent for making music. And that kind of depends on your musical preferences.Most of us listen to pop or dance music.I'm not saying that those genresare some bad genres , it's just that the new artists that we have nowadays kind of ruin them. Too bad it's that people actually seem to like their work. I know that most of you won't agree with me , but this is just my opinion.All the pop artists look pretty much the same-very commercial. So do their songs.Maybe some of them are talented , with a beatiful voice , but unfortunatelyall their work seems to be done just for money, not for the true love of making music.Their voice is synthetised or autotuned or whatever , most of the videos expose the female body as much as posibile(that's not bad if it's done in a classy way , like the porn-chic -which I really like- not in a cheap&full of bad taste way. What is too much it's too much. For example take Lana Del Rey's Blue Jeans video. She's there in a bathing suit , but you don't see anything cheap or vulgar there. It's just classy and ladylike. Which is good.) and they fill their videos with complicated choreographies who make your eyes pop-out- this is just way more than the simple meaning of making music.I'm not saying that they should be wearing turttlenecks and stay still , but revealing as much skin as possibile and moving around like an electroshocked slut isn't a good ideea either.
As rolemodels , the pop stars can be good , depending of your point of view.The fact that they've got the ambition , the strenght and determination to become the important people they are today it's an example good enough for me. But what do you do when you want to be just like your idol? You do what she does , you say what she says , you wear what she wears and try to be and act like her as much as possibile because she inspires you. Okay , but have you ever wondered if what you do might be kind of inapropiate or offensive for the others? That's why you have to be selective and "steal" from her only the good stuff.
Maybe you already knew that , maybe not, I'm just trying to open your mind a tiny-little bit and remind you that it's okay to say "no" at some stuff the media wants you to "swallow" , let's say.
 Maybe you found this boring , maybe you agreed with me , maybe you disagrred everything I've said , it's just the way I see the new Pop Culture, rolemodels and music.
I haven't written before , so I totally agree with you if you say this is a very big mess , the worst thing you've ever read , etc. I'm just happy I haven't served you cheesy love stories like other writers do or described every single fuckin' day of my fuckin' boring life like other bloggers do. So you can hapily adress me a big "Fuck You". This is just my social riot.

But today I've lstened to it again (as well as many other old songs from my pc) and I rembered how much and why I just love it: it's damn catchy and it just makes you dance around your room like a dumbfuck(no offence :D) -I've done this thing too , no problem :) Probably one of the best songs I've ever heard-even though are a lot of good songs I know , I'm a good music lover:) So , just listen to it below. Met Gala

I simply heart some outfits from the Met Gala 2012.I found some really interesting ones , so I'll just post them here:)

Rooney Mara's outfit. She always chooses black dresses, but you can't blame her for this-she looks absolutelly stunning in black! And elegant as always , of course :)

Solange Knowles' outfit.It's just a gorgeous dress , in such a happy color-it's simple yet eyecatching.Paired with the diamond-clutch , it looks so glamorous!

Even if January Jones wears Versace , my least favourite brand , I've got to say I love this dress!So , the happy yellow strikes again-mixed with black this thime. Fa-bu-lous!

Lana Del Rey.Yeah , she's my fav singer , but this outfit is amazing , so I'm not choosing her just because she's my fav. The glamorous silver dress paired with the black cape make her look like a modern princess and I really like it:) Bonus for the hair and lips!

Karlie Kloss-bold and beatiful! The pink and black dress it's just amazing-and pink and black is one of my fav. combos , btw. Bonus for the lace!

Karolina Kurkova-another glittering dress! Even if most of the glitter dresses look stupid and kitsch-and I totally hate them- these is one of the exceptions:it's just glamorous , especially with that head accesory. Love it!

Last , but not the least:Amber Heard.I love her as well , and her dress looks gorgeous! That shiny fabric in a dark pink color -stunning! But Amber looks a bit too tanned in here-let's say I forgive her this time. She's just adorable:)
